5+5 points that will make it clear to you

Based on the following, you can decide for yourself if you want to buy a low-quality, cheap product that will look very similar to our high-quality CRUSSIS scooters when viewed in your web browser. However, by buying a low-quality product, we guarantee that after a few kilometres you will get tired of scooting and find the ride tiring. You won't feel good about it and very soon you will either sell the cheap scooter or throw it away because it probably won't suit your children either.

On the other hand, with a quality CRUSSIS scooter, we guarantee that you will discover the previously unknown. You will experience a new dimension of movement that will stretch your whole body. You can easily travel tens of kilometres a day without much effort (30-50km is common, but 100km for amateurs is no exception) and all this without the subsequent pain in your back, legs, buttocks and whole body that you know from cycling.

The saying "I'm not rich enough to buy cheap stuff" is doubly true with scooters. Why, you ask? Where is the gap?
The clearance height of the tread surface is not more than 5.5 cm (the height at which the rider stands - 8 cm). The higher the tread, the more the leg has to bend at each bounce and the more force and effort is required. On CRUSSIS scooters you can ride tens of kilometres a day without much effort (even 100 km is no exception for a recreational scooterist).
Hubs with industrial bearings ensure minimum rolling resistance. This is very important as industrial bearing hubs have significantly less rolling resistance than tapered roller bearing hubs. You can tell by lifting the scooter and spinning the wheel with an industrial bearing, you can go make coffee in the meantime. When you drink it, the wheel will still be spinning. If you spin a wheel with a conventional fan bearing in the same way, the wheel will stop after a few revolutions. On very cheap scooters, you will sometimes be glad if the wheel makes at least 3 turns on its own. This all makes for an easy and comfortable ride, where the rider on the scooter, after setting it in motion, is not held back by poor quality bearings with ordinary cheap fan bearings and wastes no energy intended to move the whole scooter. So you don't have to bounce as often, and as hard, to achieve a comfortable ride.
A solid frame that does not bend on reflection. A flexible frame takes away your rebound energy, while a rigid frame transfers maximum rider energy into the scooter's movement. CRUSSIS scooters have minimal flex, they are made of 3mm wide steel tube which is not only strong but also safe enough.
High-quality tyres that, like a car, reduce drag and increase driving safety. CRUSSIS scooters are equipped with tyres from the renowned Schwalbe brand . Quality tyres with their composition, radius and especially the possibility to inflate them to a higher pressure, ensure minimum rolling resistance. Cheap scooters are usually equipped with NO-NAME tyres of the lowest quality, which can only be inflated to about half the pressure of Schwalbe tyres. With high-quality tyres, you don't have to bounce so often and with such force, you save energy and have a very comfortable ride.
Quality brakes for your safety. CRUSSIS scooters are equipped with TEKTRO brake systems, which are among the top brake systems in terms of quality. You will notice that the brake levers do not soften even under heavy braking and if they are set correctly, you will not squeeze the lever all the way to the handle even under heavy braking. In addition, they have a very good braking effect. In contrast, the cheapest NO-NAME brakes are used on cheap scooters, which you usually squeeze very lightly when braking up to the handle, and thus you can no longer squeeze the lever and thus increase the braking force. The result is that in the case of poor quality braking systems you don't stop the scooter immediately. The entire NO-NAME braking system is usually of very poor quality. Compared to these braking systems, CRUSSIS scooters equipped with TEKTRO brakes have a significantly higher braking effect, which means that if necessary, you can stop the scooter in a much shorter distance when braking intensively (up to 3 times shorter distances with TEKTRO brakes). This allows you to stop safely in a crisis situation and thus avoid an accident or injury due to an accident.
Comfortable grips, ideally with anatomical shaping for better grip and palm support. This prevents uncomfortable sensations, even hand pain from round grips, and thus with anatomical grips on CRUSSIS scooters your ride becomes a very comfortable, full of experience!
Thanks to the paints used, which hold their shade in the sun and are scratch and scuff resistant, the design will last longer than conventional liquid paints. On CRUSSIS scooters, we do one more final finish with a clear coat that is baked in all over. This increases the durability of the paint over and above UV resistance.
Such rims, unlike conventional single-walled rims, do not twist or center.
EU law does not require scooters to be certified. This means that importers of cheap scooters don't have to have their products tested in certification labs at all, and thus can supply very poor quality, sometimes even really dangerous products to the market. Even though we assemble our scooters from the highest quality components, we leave nothing to chance and even though we are not required by law to do so, we have all our CRUSSIS scooters certified by the Testing Institute in Jablonec nad Nisou, where they have passed the most stringent complete safety tests. So when you buy a CRUSSIS scooter you have the highest certified guarantee that you are buying a quality and safe product.
All our scooters are manufactured in the Czech Republic in the production hall in Hovorčovice near Prague. This ensures quality workmanship and affordable service.

Don't fall for imitations

Finally, we would like to warn you against cheap scooter products from China, which often look very similar in pictures, but the ride on them is not comparable to our scooters. You will never travel such a distance and with such ease on cheap scooters.
"Personally, I used to love cycling, but if I rode even 30 km, I was exhausted for 2-3 days, my back and butt hurt. On a scooter I can cover 30 km with complete ease and basically as fast as on a bike. After 30 km I feel fit and beautifully stretched. That's why only scooters have a place in our garage."
