• The XX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) cassette is a key reason why the Eagle Transmission offers the best-ever shifting performance under load, both inboard and outboard. Thanks to its full X-Sync design, the harder you pedal, the better it shifts. Literally. The XX Eagle Transmission cassette and derailleur are engineered as integrated and interdependent components that directly contact, ensuring perfect alignment on every bike. With a massive 520% gear range, the 52-tooth cog steps down smoothly with improved gear progression on the 44 and 38-tooth cogs at the low end (compared to the Eagle 10-52 cassette). The cassette lasts much longer and delivers greater precision with less extreme chain angles across the entire range. With a clearly marked Setup Cog, installation is easy and fool-proof. It utilizes hardened tool steel with a machined X-Dome design for the cluster, and stamped 38T and 44T steel cogs are pinned to the lighter aluminum 12th cog (Spider Cog).

The Eagle chain links have a smooth radius, with no sharp edges or chamfers, resulting in a significant reduction in noise, friction and wear on the chainring and cassette teeth. The Powerlock clutch is then a 1-use only clutch, allowing for smoother operation and better shifting on the pull.
